Arctic Wolf Viewing and Photography Expedition (Eureka)

Searching for the Arctic Wolf tour Ellesmere Island. While searching for the Arctic wolf we come across Herds of Musk-ox, some with calf’s, some big herds and small herds. Also, Polar Bears, Arctic Foxes, Arctic Hares, Snowy owls and Ringed Seals on the sea ice and beautiful landscape. We offer 3 types of packages. The first option, A 16  day tour, catch a scheduled flight from Resolute Bay to Grise fiord (non-charter) drive by snowmobile and sleigh from Grise Fiord to Eureka, spend time in Eureka and drive by snowmobile and sleigh back to Grise fiord to catch your scheduled flight back south. The benefit of this option is that you get to see a lot more of Ellesmere Island, the wildlife along the way and the possibility of finding the Wolf closer to Grise Fiord and not having to go so far North. Be advised, This option is very tough due to the long travel over rough terrain such as valleys, glaciers, sea ice with snow drifts and rough ice while dealing with long hours in the cold with not much cover from the wind. As long as you have the right gear, preparation and clothing it’s a great option to get the full experience of the high Arctic like no other. Shelter, Bedding, Sleeping Bag, Food and Generator included. Hand sewn Local Winter Outerwear available upon request such as Pants, Parka, Boots, Mitts and Hats. The expenses for this special type of tour is very high due to the remote. A group of 2 - 6 would be a rate of $20,000 - $25,000.00 CAD per person (5% Tax)
2nd Option, A 14 day tour, Charter directly from Resolute Bay (The town you reach before Grise fiord to switch to a smaller plane) to Eureka by Airplane, Guides drive from Grise Fiord and meet you in Eureka, Spend 10 days in Eureka, then drive 4 days by snowmobile and sleigh to Grise Fiord to catch a schedule flight (non-charter) back south or the reverse which is Drive 4 days by snowmobile and sleigh from Grise Fiord to Eureka. Spend 10 days in Eureka and catch a Charter by airplane directly from Eureka to Resolute Bay to catch your schedule flight back south. The benefit of this is that you get to see more of Ellesmere and avoid the long, cold rough ride back and catch a comfortable plane ride and see Ellesmere Island from the sky. Shelter, Bedding, Sleeping Bag, Food and Generator included. Hand sewn Local Winter Outerwear available upon request such as Pants, Parka, Boots, Mitts and Hats. The rate is based on the size of the group up to a max of 6. The rate per person is $25,000.00 - $30,000.00 CAD (5% Tax) + The cost of the charter which would need to be split between the group equally. (Estimate charter cost $45,000 - $50,000.00)
3rd Option, A 12 Day tour, Charter from directly from Resolute Bay by airplane to Eureka, Guides meet you in Eureka to search for the Arctic Wolf and other wildlife in the area. Charter directly back to Resolute bay by airplane from Eureka. The benefit to this is that you would avoid the long, cold and tough 4 - 8 day snowmobile and sleigh ride to Eureka and just enjoy the experience of finding the wolf and other wildlife in the area with an experience like no other place can offer. Also, this type of tour can accommodate a bigger group of up to 6 to 10. The rate for this tour is based on the size of the group. Rate is $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per person (5% Tax) + the charter cost which would need to be split between the group equally. (Estimate Charter cost $90,000.00 - $100,000.00) If you are the “Photography Guide/Head of the group” you get a 50% discount on the rate of all tour package options. If you are not part of a group you can request a private Tour or request to join a group.
